Who you're dealing with

These terms are between you and Lochlan Thomason, trading as PlumberMate AU. By continuing to use the app you agree to these terms. You must be of legal age, or have authority to bind your business, to subscribe.

What this app is

PlumberMate AU provides educational calculators, estimate helpers and checklist templates for plumbers and apprentices. It is a convenience tool, not a substitute for professional judgement. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app within your selected plan.

Calculator results

Results are educational estimates only. They are not engineering, plumbing, legal or compliance advice, and they do not demonstrate compliance with any standard or regulation. Drainage grades, concrete quantities and similar figures must be verified against current applicable standards, manufacturer instructions and local authority requirements before you rely on them.

Markup calculations use markup (a percentage added to cost), not profit margin. Check which method your business intends to use.

Estimates and checklists

Estimates produced by this app are not formal quotes or contracts. Checklists, including AI-generated drafts, are starting points only — you are responsible for reviewing, editing and verifying them for each job. AI drafts can be incomplete or wrong, and are not suitable as professional compliance advice without your own oversight.

Subscriptions, billing and refunds

Live paid checkout remains paused. Pro's intended price is AUD $39 per month, including Australian GST. Existing Business subscriptions are AUD $79 per month, including Australian GST; Business has no additional team features and is not offered for new purchases. Plans remove the Free limits of 5 account customers and 10 account estimates. Jobs, invoices, automated messages, reports and teams are not included.

Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. A 7-day free trial is available only once per account and verified billing customer. Test checkout uses no real money; returning customers and unfinished checkouts require support. Cancelling a trial before it ends prevents its first charge. Cancelling a paid subscription keeps access until the end of the current paid period.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Refunds: we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your order date. Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle — visit paddle.net or contact us via the Feedback page.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the app: no unlawful use, fraud or spam, no infringing others' intellectual property, and no interfering with security (including malware, probing or scraping). Do not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or circumvent plan limits. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the figures you enter, the work you perform, and complying with all applicable laws, standards and licensing requirements. To the extent permitted by law, PlumberMate AU is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profits or data) arising from reliance on app results, and our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

Service level, suspension and termination

We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated serious violations of these terms. If your access ends, your device-saved data remains on your device; account backups may be deleted after a reasonable period.

Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the app and its software, documentation and branding. You retain ownership of the content you enter; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. The current version is always available on this page; continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
